A year ago, I announced that I would be leaving PICC in 2021. As my final day at PICC draws closer, I wanted to give all of you an update on our transition process.
The Capacity Development Director will be focused on helping PICC answer the question: how do we build the organizational capacity, individual leadership, and infrastructure of our movement so that immigrant communities can access the services they need and have powerful vehicles for creating systemic and structural change?
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, with a final deadline of February 15, 2021.
The PA Immigrant Relief Fund was a joint project of PA is Ready! and Philadelphia-Area Immigrant Collective Action to provide direct emergency assistance to people excluded from federal COVID-19 assistance programs due to their immigration status or the immigration status of a family member and were in need of immediate financial assistance.
The Policy Director will be focused on helping PICC answer the question: how do we change the political landscape in Pennsylvania to win more pro-immigrant policies and stop all anti-immigrant policies?
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis with a final deadline of November 15, 2020.
The Executive Director of PICC is a highly effective communicator, masterful storyteller and bridge builder who demonstrates the ability to lead collaboration among groups representing multiple nationalities, languages, ethnicities, religions, and other identities and their intersections. They are a compassionate, persistent, and adaptable leader who will strengthen PICC’s vision.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled, ideal start date will be February 2021.
Now in its fifth year, PA is Ready! is thrilled to announce its 2020 grant awards, totaling $228,750, to 22 organizations serving communities across Pennsylvania.

The Trump administration has proposed a regulation change that will prevent an estimated hundreds of thousands of elderly and working poor immigrants from becoming United States citizens every year by prohibiting the use of income-verified public benefits as a way of establishing an inability to pay application fees.
