Public Benefits for Immigrants & Refugees

On Sunday, March 25, 2018, from 1:30-3 pm, CLS will conduct a basic training on various public benefits that immigrants can be eligible for.
We will discuss what to do if you have an issue accessing benefits (such as food stamps, cash assistance, Medicaid, and Emergency Medical Assistance) from the welfare office. We will also discuss what to do if you apply for SSI disability benefits and are denied.
This workshop will be held in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
