Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Dia De Los Muertos is a celebration of those who have passed on. THIS NOVEMBER 3RD, we say, Jose Vive! (Jose Lives)! We say, La Lucha Sigue (The Struggle Continues). This First Friday, we will remember Jose Antonio Elena Rodriguez and all who have died at the hands of our country’s xenophobic and racist policies. Jose Antonio was a 16 year old boy who was shot 10 times by Border Patrol agents in 2012.

We will drink, we will dance, and we will honor and celebrate our lives for the sacredness that they are. Full menu will be posted on this event as updated. We will have a pop-up restaurant, plenty of space to sit and eat, live music, drinking, dancing, and more celebrating.

There will be a donation-based bar, a dance floor, hot food, hot beverages (cold ones too!), and most importantly, our alter and prayer flags. The altar should be decorated with flowers, candles, and pictures of loved ones. Please bring anything else you want to add.
