5-Year DACAversary

In commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the implementation of DACA, the Office of Immigrant Affairs and PICC will be holding a joint press conference this Tuesday, August 15th from 10-11:00 am in Conversation Hall in City Hall. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney will be in attendance to deliver short remarks.

In addition to short remarks from the Mayor, we will be showing the short documentary “We are DACA,” which highlights the stories of five Dreamers. Three of the individuals that are featured in the film will speak at the press conference on how DACA has opened doors of opportunities for them and what it would mean to their life if the Trump administration ended the program.
