#RiseForRefuge – Help Save the Refugee Resettlement Program!

Join PICC Member HIAS Pennsylvania for weekly phone banks to Congress asking them to save the refugee resettlement program.

The refugee admission ceiling has averaged 95,000 since 1980, but the current administration is threatening to set the ceiling between 0 and 10,000 for fiscal year 2020. A drastic reduction or zeroing-out of the refugee program goes against our humanitarian values and would have severe consequences for refugee resettlement for years to come.

We are asking members of congress to support the Guaranteed Refugee Admission Ceiling Enhancement Act (GRACE Act) which would set the refugee ceiling to at least 95,000 refugees. For more information, visit the HIAS PA advocacy page.
