For twenty years, the Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition has been advocating for immigrants, migrants and refugees across the state of Pennsylvania. The coalition is rooted in immigrant communities across twenty seven counties where the sixty member organizations are actively serving and organizing Pennsylvania immigrants every day. The Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition is excited to recognize members of our community that have shown leadership and have advanced immigrant rights in Pennsylvania. The Community Heroes Awards are nominated and selected by PIC members; this year members will be recognizing a Community Leader and Youth Leader as well as honoring the legacy of former PIC staffer, Prudence Powell.
