Are you Eligible?  Obtaining Health Care for Immigrants

We are excited to partner with the Montgomery County Latino Collaborative to bring our health care training to Upper Norristown. This training is open to health care providers, advocates, social workers, case managers, community educators, and anyone who assists the immigrant community in accessing needed health care services. The skill based and participatory training focuses on how to determine eligibility and apply for various health care services for the immigrant community.

Topics covered include:

• Immigration status in determining eligibility for services
• Eligibility rules for major health programs
• Addressing barriers to care
• Effectively advocating for your clients

Cost: $40 for non PICC members.  $35 for PICC members that have paid their dues in the current fiscal year.
