This skill based and participatory training focuses on how to identify and determine eligibility for various health care services for the immigrant community, and how to apply for key programs. 3 CEs offered through the PA chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

This training is open to social service and health care providers, advocates, social workers, case managers, community educators, and anyone who assists the immigrant community in accessing needed health care services. The skill based and participatory training focuses on how to determine eligibility and apply for various services for members of the immigrant community.
Topics covered include:
* Immigration status in determining eligibility for services
* Eligibility rules for major programs including Medical Assistance (Regular and Emergency), CHIP, and safety net services
* Addressing barriers to care
* Effectively advocating for your clients
